Food Truck Vendor
Terms and Guidelines
Event types:
RiversEdge produces different types of programming for the community of Hamilton, OH. The bulk of our programming revolves around the RiversEdge Amphitheater, located in Marcum Park at 116 Dayton St. Hamilton, OH 45011.
RiversEdge Free Concert Series
RiversEdge throws free concerts about once a week from late May to late September at the RiversEdge Amphitheater. Our Free Concert Series schedule will be announced by early March. These concerts are free to the public with the exception of our ticketed VIP deck, which gives our VIP ticket holders vouchers for food and drinks. Please see the VIP Ticket Voucher section to learn more. These events range in size of attendance from week to week. Our events attract an average of about 1,000 attendees and up to 3,000+. The RiversEdge amphitheater is an outdoor venue, so weather plays a heavy factor in gaging attendance. Our music programming is diverse to accommodate options for all demographics and target markets. Some shows are tribute bands and others are acts with original music.
-
Vendor fee $75.
RiversEdge Ticketed Events
RiversEdge produces special events throughout the year with larger internationally touring acts that draw larger crowds which are ticketed and not free to the public. Examples of these types of events are Big River Get Down, Whimmydiddle, and one-off performances by larger touring bands. The VIP voucher system still applies to these events.
-
Vendor fee $100
RiversEdge Special Events
These are smaller events that add value to the community through alternative programming such as Movies in the Park, May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day, and more. These events typically have a smaller cap on vendor availability.
-
Vendor fee $50.
VIP ticket voucher system:
RiversEdge VIP ticket holders are give 3 voucher tickets per event. Each ticket is good for one free beverage from the RiversEdge beverage stands or one free menu item from a food truck vendor. Menu items for VIP vouchers should be the same items available to all customers. In other words, there should be no separate menu for VIP vouchers. For example: If one of your menu items is a burger that includes a side, the voucher is good for the burger and side, NOT just the burger. These items should be valued around $7-$12.
We ask that all our food truck vendors agree to adhere to this voucher system before applying.
On average the VIP attendance is around 50 people for free concert series events. The capacity of the VIP section is 250 people. Our program director will not book two food vendors with the same cuisine during the same event in order to prevent direct competition and provide a variety of options for attendees.
Weather:
During an event with inclement weather, vendors are responsible for their gear and safety. Please pay attention to weather forecasts and make proactive, responsible decisions to keep you and your business protected. RiversEdge is not liable for any damage to you, your equipment, or any items you bring to the event.
Utilities:
Vendors are encouraged to provide their own power and utilities. Accommodations for power and water may be available upon request. All food truck vendors are responsible for providing their own power connection hardware, hoses, and extension cords. Be prepared to reach a power source up to 100 ft away if necessary.
Location and presentation:
RiversEdge is providing an experience for our attendees. This goes beyond what is on stage. We are looking to work with vendors who are putting extra effort into their presentation and aesthetic to help create a great environment for our events. Your truck service window will be facing a large green space in Marcum Park along Dayton St. Your specific spot will be determined by the program director.
Team work makes the dream work:
RiversEdge does not have a designated position to direct food truck vendors. We rely on the self sufficiency of all of our vendors. We need you to work as a team with the other vendors by helping to make space where needed and trouble shoot issues as they come up. You will be given contact information to our program director who can help with emergencies, placement issues, and any other discrepancies. The program director will not be present through the entirety of the event. Vendors who are not team players will not be asked to come back to future events.
Scheduling and payment:
Our programming schedule will be announced by early March. Once your application is approved, our program director will contact you to discuss scheduling and collect your vendor fee payment according to which events you will be vending. Spots are limited. We will do our best to accommodate all those who apply.
No alcohol sales:
Food trucks and vendors are prohibited from selling alcohol at all RiversEdge Events.

Certifications:
Please arrive with all necessary certifications and be prepared for inspections by the health department.
